The Farmers of Barron County Watershed group has planned a field day for July 14th, 2017 to be held at Almena, WI at the farm of Clayton Wohlk.   The focus of the field day is to highlight the no-till alfalfa management into cereal rye covers and to learn from the Wohlk’s successes.    Also planned are to have the cover crop interseeding cultivator and a new waterway mat installation implement that has been designed and built by some local enterprising individuals and is currently under patent application on display.  the meeting will begin at 10:30 am and be done by noon.   All are welcome.

How did it go, Andy? Has the weather allowed anyone there to explore interseeding?
