For farmers looking to transition from conventional tillage to no-till:

Can someone give an estimation of their cost reduction per acre?

the answer is all over the board……so much depends on your current machinery investment and scale of the operation.    If you just use custom rates for reduction in tillage it is easy to come up with $40-50 per acre in reduced cost.    Plowing($18-22)  discing or field cultivation($15-18)  other  Rock picking etc($5-10)

Have you had to change your fertility program at all to account for less tillage? I get that question alot lately.
